The latest Ash Design new-build was a boutique development of two 3-bed semi detached in Oakham, Rutland. (see images above). It was constructed from ICF’s (insulated Concrete Forms). Creating an ultra efficient building envelope with no thermal or cold breaching with impressive U Values, with up to 70% more energy efficient compared to standard construction. We believe that in an era where energy prices are on the increase, we should be designing houses that are so well insulated that either require minimal or no energy at all to heat them.
